This incredible 100 mile ride starts from Tri.A.Bike. Tri-A-Bike is the longest running bike shop in the Coachella Valley, originally started by David O’Donnell 30 years ago in Palm Desert.

I think this was the first time I did this event by myself.  I still remember going there in the morning not knowing anyone and feeling a bit weird. But once I started riding, it all felt ok. It took me 7 hours to finish it! (I think it was a good time considering that the Tour of Big bear took me 9 hours!)  This is what I wrote on my instagram after I finished this event:

“The training is still going! 😀 Start time: 9AM/Finish time: around 4PM ha! A good way to start the year! The Hangover 100 Mile unofficial bike ride. Ok peeps…I am tired and sleepy. Good night!”
