30 Jan 100 Mile Tour of Big Bear

In August 2013, I decided to do the Tour of Big Bear. Even though  I knew I could do it, I wasn’t prepared for the end of this bike ride. I remember spectators were yelling: “you are almost there!” but I kept turning left and right, climbing and more climbing and no sign of a finish line! It felt like this wasn’t going to end anytime soon…! and I was right! Just when I thought I was almost done, I had to go through the most challenging and steepest incline I have ever ridden in my entire life…  I literally had to drag my bike to the top. lol! No joke!  

My phone died, my legs were in pain, I went through the most challenging and steepest incline… but I made it to the finish line! …It only took me 9 hours…😬 

It was a mission accomplished!
